ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 15. KazTransOil (Kazakhstan's national operator of the main oil pipeline) plans to transit Russian oil through the territory of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan in the amount of 50,000 tons in April 2024, the company told Trend.
"KazTransOil plans to transit 50,000 tons of Russian oil through the territory of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan along the route Omsk - Pavlodar - Shymkent - Shagyr oil loading rack in April 2024," the company said.
In addition, the company also plans to transport 550,000 tons of Russian oil from Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan in total in 2024.
Meanwhile, in the first quarter of 2024, KazTransOil transported 75,000 tons of Russian oil to Uzbekistan through the territory of Kazakhstan.
Furthermore, in 2023, KazTransOil transported 154,300 tons of Russian oil to Uzbekistan. KazTransOil JSC transports Russian oil through the territory of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan in accordance with the oil supply schedule approved by the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan.
KazTransOil is part of the KazMunayGas group (Kazakhstan's national oil and gas company). The company owns a diversified network of main oil pipelines, each 5,400 km in length.
