According to the Kyrgyz Central Election Commission’s official website, the CEC received 100 percent of the final protocols from all 2,318 election commissions as of Nov.2, KyrTAG reported.

According to the Kyrgyz Central Election Commission's official website, the CEC received 100 percent of the final protocols from all 2,318 election commissions as of Nov.2, KyrTAG reported.

According to preliminary data, after processing 100 percent of the protocols, 1.858.596 million Kyrgyz citizens attended the voting, turnout hit 61.28 percent. Some 1.175.344 voters (63.24 percent) voted for candidate Almazbek Atambayev. Candidate Adakhan Madumarov gained 274,434 votes - 14.77 percent. Kamchybek Tashiyev gained 266,192 votes - 14.32 percent.

The remaining 13 candidates have not gained 1 percent each.

It should be recalled that Kyrgyz presidential elections were attended by 16 candidates.
The voting ended at 19:00 on Oct. 30.

President of Kyrgyzstan is elected for 6 years by direct and secret ballot, and his tenure is limited to one term.

The candidate who receives a vote of 50% +1 is elected
