Kyrgyz border guard Kulbarat uulu Balban who shot five people was killed during arrest, 24.kg reported referring to Kyrgyz Military Prosecutor's Office.
The soldier was found on Monday at about 6.15 in one of gorges of Kyrgyzstan's Issyk-Kul region.
"The suspect showed resistance during the arrest and was killed as a result," Military Prosecutor's Office said.
A criminal case under articles "Murder", "Illegal occupation of a car or other motor-vehicle" "Theft of firearms" and "Desertion" was filed on the incident.
The investigation is under control of the Kyrgyz Military Prosecutor's Office.
The border guard killed four colleagues and one civilian on August 20 and then fled the scene in a car.
The names of killed people were identified: Mirlan Mamytov (according to other sources Malikov), born in 1975, Saadatbek Toktogulov, born in 1988, Rysbek Kanatbek, born in 1982, Bakyt Kadyrov, born in 1987 and his wife B.Kadyrova.
