Kyrgyzstan, Turkey to mull perspectives for expanding bilateral cooperation

Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Erlan Abdyldaev will be on official visit to Turkey on May 22-24 to attend the first meeting of the Joint Group on Strategic Planning chaired by the foreign ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, Kabar news agency reported referring to Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Erlan Abdyldaev will be on official visit to Turkey on May 22-24 to attend the first meeting of the Joint Group on Strategic Planning chaired by the foreign ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, Kabar news agency reported referring to Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Group was created in accordance with the decision of the first meeting of Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, headed by Kyrgyz president Almazbek Atambayev and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

During the meeting the sides are expected to discuss the current state of bilateral cooperation and the perspectives for its expansion, in particular in trade and economic sphere in the context of the preparations for the third meeting of Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation, which will take place in June, 2014 in Ankara.

The sides will also discuss the issues of regional and international agenda, cooperation in international and regional organizations, as well as the mutual support in their elected.
