BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 7. Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF) will finance construction of the first autoclaved aerated concrete production plant in Khalmion Batken region of Kyrgyzstan, Trend reports citing the RKDF.

The plant will have the capacity of 160,000 cubic meters per year.

Thanks to this project, new jobs will be created, and the salary of employees will be at least 40,000 soms ($492) per month. The Batken region's infrastructure will be enhanced, new buildings will be built from environmentally friendly, durable and heat-resistant material.

"This is the biggest RKDF's investment project in the Batken region," Chairman of the Executive Board of the RKDF, Artem Novikov said.

Notably, the company implementing the project will direct 5 percent of the profits to the social development of Batken region: modernization of healthcare facilities, construction of orphanages and gyms etc.
