BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 7. Kyrgyzstan imported 568 tons of tea in January 2023, which is 24.5 decrease year-on-year (453 tons in January 2022), Trend reports via the State Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
The value of the exports totaled $707,400 decreasing by 17.8 percent over $860,200 in the same period last year.
The largest share of tea (233 tons) in the reporting period was imported from Kazakhstan. The figure slightly rose over 223 tons in January 2022.

In total, Kyrgyzstan's trade turnover exceeded $834.7 million in January 2023, which is an increase of near 20 percent year-on-year ($692.5 million in January 2022).
The exports from Kyrgyzstan amounted to $125.5 million, which is an increase of 11 percent compared to $111 million in January 2022. The imports to Kyrgyzstan totaled $709 million, increasing by 22 percent compared to $581 million in January 2022.
