BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, August 3. Kyrgyzstan would like to attract more Turkish companies to gold mining in the country, Trend reports.
This was stated by the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Türkiye Ruslan Kazakbaev at a meeting held on August 1 with the new Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Türkiye Alparslan Bayraktar.
During the meeting, Kazakbayev spoke about the natural resources of Kyrgyzstan, in particular about the investments of Turkish companies in gold mining.
He also provided information about the Nationalized Kumtor Company and expressed a desire to attract more Turkish companies working in the field of natural resource extraction.
In turn, Minister Alparslan Bayraktar also expressed interest in expanding cooperation in the field of natural resources. In this regard, relevant information was requested from Türkiye for dissemination among Turkish business circles.
As a result of the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on the mutual visits of the heads of relevant ministries to Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye.
