BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, September 22. KazakhExport, the national export insurance company of Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan’s RSK Bank agreed to collaborate on joint projects in the insurance and trade financing of the bank's clients involved in exports of goods and services from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan, Trend reports.
The corresponding agreement was signed during the Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan Intergovernmental Council and the First Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
The agreement also provides for the development of a strategic partnership, coordination of efforts to organize joint seminars, roundtable discussions, and presentations to inform about programs and services, as well as support and participation in financing, insurance, and other assistance for companies engaged in foreign trade activities.
"This agreement will provide buyers of Kazakhstani products in Kyrgyzstan access to preferential trade financing. We are currently discussing the first project for the supply of furniture within this collaboration. We hope that other banks in Kyrgyzstan will also show interest in the KazakhExport program," Kuanysh Mukazhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of KazakhExport, said.
In turn, Akylbek Turdaliyev, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of RSK Bank, emphasized that RSK Bank was the first bank in Kyrgyzstan that started collaborating with KazakhExport.
KazakhExport is a subsidiary of Baiterek, a national management holding, The main task of the company is to support domestic non-commodity exporters through various financial instruments.
