BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, April 6. Kyrgyzstan’s crude oil production reached 49,400 tons from January through February 2024, which is a 5.8 percent increase compared to the same months in 2023 (46,700 tons), Trend reports.
In February 2024, the State Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan reported a crude oil production of 23,900 tons, which is a 13.6 percent decrease compared to February 2023 (24,600 tons).
Meanwhile, the value of the country's extraction sector production totaled 9.019 billion soms ($100.956 million) from January through February 2024, increasing by 3 percent compared to the same months in 2023.
Meanwhile, Kyrgyzstan’s crude oil production amounted to 303,200 tons in 2023, which is a 2.8-percent increase compared to 2022 (294,900 tons).
Furthermore, Kyrgyzstan's industrial production reached 74.4 billion soms ($831.935 million) from January through February 2024, up by 7.8 percent from the same period in 2023.
