BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 7. Tajikistan shared data on profits from aluminum exports from January through June 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Customs Service of Tajikistan.
According to the statistical data, Tajikistan in six months of 2022 exported 28,794 tons of aluminum in the amount of $88 million.
The main importers of Tajik aluminum in the reporting period were Türkiye ($70.1 million) and Uzbekistan ($10.6 million).
One of the largest aluminum production enterprises in Tajikistan is Tajik Aluminum Company TALCO, which exported almost 50,000 tons of aluminum worth $119 million in 2021.
Meanwhile, the total amount of exported goods from Tajikistan amounted to $1.3 billion - an increase of 30 percent compared to the corresponding period of last year ($1 billion).
