BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 15. Tajikistan shared data on the country's wheat country as of August 12, Trend reports referring to the Ministry of Agriculture of Tajikistan.
According to the Ministry, to date, the total wheat harvest in Tajikistan reached 682,808 tons.
"The yield of wheat in the Sughd region is 36 centners per 1 hectare, in the Khatlon region - 36 centners, and in Dushanbe - 26 centners," the Ministry reported.
Meanwhile, the total grain harvest across the country amounted to 815,395 tons for now.
Remarkably, the volume of Tajikistan's wheat harvest in 2021 totaled 864,000 tons, while this year 917,000 tons are expected.
