President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree enabling the transfer to another job for Muhammet Abalakov from the post of Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Saudi Arabia and the country's permanent representative to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
Under another decree Mr Abalakov has been approved as vice-president of the World Turkmen Humanitarian Association.
Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia are studying opportunities of investment projects, cooperation in the production of cement and other building materials, as well as in agriculture, including animal husbandry and grain cultivation and forage crops.
OIC is the largest Muslim governmental international group which includes 57 countries with a population of about 1.2 billion people. The headquarters is located in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia).
