Turkmenistan’s Turkmenabat Sewing Factory exceeds production plan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 6. The Turkmenabat Sewing Factory of Turkmenistan from January through March 2022 manufactured products worth 10.4 million Turkmen manat ($2.9 million) instead of the 7.4 million Turkmen manat ($2.1 million) set by the production plan, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.

Sewing Factory exceeded the production plan by 39 percent.

The main part of the factory's products is uniforms for the military, as well as clothing for children and adults.

Turkmenistan plans to allocate more than $300 million for the implementation of over 30 projects in the textile industry by 2025.

Major investments will be directed not only to expanding existing capacities but also to creating more than 10 new production facilities based on existing enterprises that use modern technologies for the manufacture of environmentally friendly products.

In general, over the years of independence, about $2 billion were invested in the construction of new and reconstruction of existing textile enterprises.
