BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 18. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the head of the Russian "Vozrozhdenie" Group of design and construction companies Igor Bukato, Trend reports citing the Business Turkmenistan news agency.
During the meeting, the interest in the participation of the Russian holding in the implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects carried out in Turkmenistan was confirmed.
The president stressed that Turkmenistan is always open for effective cooperation with foreign partners, and also noted the successful experience of cooperation with the "Vozrozhdenie" Group of Design and Construction Companies specializing in various fields.
According to him, Turkmenistan attaches special importance to the active introduction of advanced digital technologies and achievements of scientific and technological progress in all sectors of the national economy.
Furthemore, Bukato said that currently "Vozrozhdenie" is implementing a project for the construction of a complex of drainage facilities in the southern part of the Turkmen city of Ashgabat.
The group of companies registered its branch in Turkmenistan in September 2009. Over 10 years of work, it has built and commissioned more than 20 infrastructure facilities in Turkmenistan.
