BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 26. The planned volume of natural gas production in the Balkan region in the west of Turkmenistan has been published, Trend reports citing Orient news.
Natural gas production in the Balkan region is planned to increase to 11 billion cubic meters per year by 2025.
Simultaneously with the improvement of the results of natural gas production in the region, it is planned to increase the manufacturing of gas condensate to 10.5 million tons per year.
At the same time, by 2025, it is planned to increase the production of motor gasoline by 29 percent, diesel fuel by 20.4 percent, and lubricating oils by 3 times in the Balkan region.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. Its gas reserves have increased by 126 billion cubic meters as a result of the industrial development of recently discovered gas fields.
At the same time, the country pays great attention to the creation of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
