ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, March 20. The Turkmenistan's 'Täze ay' group of companies has opened a new meat processing plant in the Mary region, Trend reports.

According to official data, the enterprise, equipped with modern equipment from leading European and Turkish manufacturers, is located in the Mary region.

The production capacities of the new meat processing plant allow for processing up to 500 heads of cattle and 1000 heads of sheep and goats in one technological cycle.

Furthermore, the commissioning of this meat processing plant is designed to promote the development of animal husbandry, increase the level of food security in the region, and also create more than 100 new jobs.

Meanwhile, the 'Täze ay' group of companies is one of the largest producers of sausage products, confectionery, and dairy products in Turkmenistan, producing a total of about 500 types of food products.

At the moment, Turkmenistan is doing a lot of work on the development of animal husbandry, increasing the number of livestock, manufacturing meat and dairy products, and strengthening the feed base of the industry. The improvement of local livestock enterprises continues.
