ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 11. The Turkmenabat chemical plant, named after Saparmurat Niyazov and located in the Lebap region of Turkmenistan, exceeded the plan for the production of phosphorous mineral fertilizers from January through March 2024, Trend reports.
According to official data, during the specified period, the plant produced 42,300 tons of phosphorous mineral fertilizer, exceeding the plan by 24.4 percent.
Furthermore, in the first three months of this year, the company also produced 29,600 tons of sulfuric acid.
The chemical plant produced 270,500 tons of phosphoric mineral fertilizers and 94,400 tons of sulfuric acid for the entire year 2023, fully fulfilling the plan.
Meanwhile, the Turkmenabat chemical plant stands as the sole production facility in Turkmenistan dedicated to manufacturing phosphorus fertilizers essential for enhancing crop yields, including cotton, grain, and various agricultural productions.
