The Uzbek-Omani investment company announced its intention to expand its investment portfolio in Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to uzreport.news. For this purpose, the company has created a securities fund focused on the investment opportunities of the capital market.
This Company was established by a Resolution of the President of Uzbekistan in September 2009. The founders of the company are the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan and the State General Reserve Fund of the Sultanate of Oman. Presently, the company is the largest private equity fund in the country.
“Along with the main activity related to direct investments, the Uzbek-Omani company is interested in becoming an active participant of the development of the capital market of the Republic of Uzbekistan. We are motivated by current reforms and we are optimistic about the future and growing investment potential, and we hope to increase our investment contribution accordingly,” commented Aown Al Bahrani, the General Director of the Uzbek-Omani investment company.
