Uzbekistan will take measures to study the toponymic location and the results of statistical analyzes of organic agricultural products over the past three years, Trend reports referring to the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan.
The mentioned decision has been approved in accordance with the regulation on the form and procedure for installing signs and instructions on land plots of organic origin.
According to the regulation, starting from 2021, an address list of land plots of farms that grow organic agricultural products and harvest wild plant products will be formed annually until October 1.
In addition, measures will be taken to study the toponymic location and the results of statistical analyzes over the past three years, conduct laboratory analyzes of the quality and safety indicators of soil, groundwater and wastewater on the land plots of such farms.
Moreover, those who grow organic agricultural products and harvest wild-growing plant products have been entrusted on a permanent basis with the installation of signs and instructions distinguishing their territory from land plots where agricultural products are grown in the traditional way, as well as the tasks of growing export-oriented and highly profitable products.
