Israel sees opportunities for co-op with Uzbekistan in chemical and pharmaceutical industries

Israel sees opportunities to build mutually beneficial relationships with Uzbekistan in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, the Chairman of the Association for the Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Eco-Industries of Israel, Vice President of Israel Chemicals (ICL), Nitzan Moshe said, Trend reports citing Uzbek embassy in Israel.

The mentioned issues were discussed during an online presentation of the chemical industry of Uzbekistan organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan for the Association of the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry and Eco-Industry of Israel, as well as a number of Israeli companies engaged in the chemical industry.

During the presentation, detailed information was provided on the activities of Uzkimyosanoat (Uzbek Association of the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry and Eco-Industry), in particular, the work of industrial enterprises and a research institute, potential investment and export opportunities for cooperation with foreign partners were presented.

The chairman of Uzkimyosanoat Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov stressed his readiness to establish bilateral relations in the fields of research and design, as well as laboratory services. Particular interest was expressed in the study and use of Israeli experience in the implementation of biotechnology, energy-saving technologies and technologies of Сleantech in the production processes of the chemical industry in Uzbekistan.

As a result of the event, an agreement was reached on the further development of cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Uzkimyosanoat is engaged in the production and processing of chemicals (basic and specialized (unsafe) chemicals, industrial gas, detergents and cleaning products), healthcare (drugs, biotechnology, medical equipment), petrochemistry (various fuels, oil refining, gas), gas exploration and oil, environmental protection (Cleantech ecological technologies), waste management and disposal, alternative fuels, agriculture (fertilizers, plant protection, veterinary drugs).
