Russian Wildberries online retailer has started operating in Uzbekistan,Trend reports via the press service of the company.
According to the company, residents of Uzbekistan will have access to a wide range of goods, and entrepreneurs will be able to develop their business by expanding sales channels and opening joint partner outlets.
“We are pleased to announce the launch of an online store in Uzbekistan. Residents of this country will have access to a wide range of goods from international manufacturers, and representatives of local businesses will be able to access Wildberries in the future and sell their products in the countries where the company operates,” the press service said.
Delivery of goods will be carried out by the company's own logistics service. In Uzbekistan, Wildberries opened order pickup points with comfortable fitting rooms, which will allow residents of the country to try on clothes and shoes before buying. The first branded pick-up point of the online retailer has already been launched in Tashkent.
Entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan will be able to independently open Wildberries distribution points and receive income up to 3.5 percent of turnover.
To date, Wildberries is already operating in 20 countries around the world, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Germany, France, Great Britain, the Baltic countries, the US and many others.
