BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. The volume of official reserve assets of Uzbekistan as of April 1,2022, reached $35.1 billion, which is an increase of 7.6 percent compared to the same period last year ($32.7 billion), Trend reports citing the Uzbek Central Bank.
The volume of other assets in foreign currency for the corresponding period reached $98 million, which is an increase by 2.7 times compared to the same period of 2021 ($36 million).
During this period, the gold reserves of Uzbekistan increased by 8.3 percent in comparison to the same period of 2021 ($19.3 billion), reaching $20.9 billion.
