BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 17. Uzbekistan Airways has signed an agreement with Airbus on the reconfiguration of aircraft cabins, Trend reports with reference to podrobno.uz.
The A320 economy class aircraft will be equipped with 24 Recaro 3710 Swift seats, which will increase the number of transported passengers.
"Uzbekistan Airways is proud to be Airbus Services' first customer in Central Asia. This step will not only meet market demand but will also boost the airline's profitability," the technical director of the airline, Ulugbek Kiyasov, said.
Remarkably, the aircraft cabin modernization program will be implemented at the Uzbekistan Airways Technics maintenance and repair department in Tashkent.
