BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 25. Uzbekneftegaz JSC discovered a new Yangi Alat gas condensate field on the territory of the Karakul district of the country’s Bukhara region, Trend reports citing the press service of the company.
After completion of drilling at well No.1 of the Yangi Alat field natural gas and gas condensate products were obtained.
As a result of the work carried out, an industrial gas flow of 800,000 cubic meters of gas and 15 tons of gas condensate are produced daily.
Currently, well No.1 of the Yangi Alat field is undergoing geological exploration to determine pressure, temperature and other mining and geological parameters of the productive layer, as well as to assess production capacities on an industrial scale.
Until the end of the year, it is planned to drill the next exploratory wells No.2,3 at the new field as part of the Program for the Development and Reproduction of the Hydrocarbon Resource Base of Uzbekneftegaz JSC for 2022.
