BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 18. Uzbekneftegaz JSC completed the overhaul at well No.38 of the Uchkir field (country’s Bukhara region), Trend reports via the company's statement.
The exploratory well No. 38 was drilled in 1966 and since 1986 the well has been in a liquidated fund. At present, a commercial gas inflow has been obtained from the well.
As a result of the complex workover, an industrial gas flow of 56,000 cubic meters of gas and 0.5 tons of gas condensate per day was obtained.
The Uchkir gas condensate field is located in the Karakul district of the Bukhara region and was put into operation in 1967.
Previously Uzbekneftegaz JSC completed the overhaul at well No.58 of the Kultak field (country’s Kashkadarya region).
As a result of the work carried out, an industrial gas flow of 75,000 cubic meters of gas and 1.7 tons of gas condensate per day was obtained.
