Uzbekistan discloses value of construction work done over 11M2022

BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 19. The value of construction work carried out in Uzbekistan from January through November 2022 amounted to 115.1 trillion soums ($10.2 billion), which is an increase of 20.9 percent compared to the same period of the last year (95.2 trillion soums, or $8.4 billion), Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.

During this period, most of the construction work was carried out in the country’s Tashkent city for a total of 28.3 trillion soums ($2.5 billion), followed by the Tashkent region for a total of 10.4 trillion soums ($924 million), Samarkand region (7.7 trillion soums, or $686.3 million).

In 2021, construction work worth 107.4 trillion soums ($9.9 billion) was carried out in Uzbekistan. At the same time, the value of construction work carried out in 2020 amounted to 88.1 trillion soums ($8.1 billion).
