TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, October 24. Uzbekistan’s Qanot Sharq private passenger airline will start operating flights between Uzbekistan’s Tashkent and Spain’s Madrid on March 9, 2024, Trend reports.
Flights between the capitals will be operated once a week on Saturdays on an Airbus A321neo aircraft.
Meanwhile, the airline launched a charter flight on the route Tashkent (Uzbekistan) - Tel Aviv (Israel) - Samarkand (Uzbekistan) in early May 2023.
Qanot Sharq was founded in 1998. Since its establishment, it has specialized in cargo and charter passenger transportation.
In 2021, the airline resumed its operations as the first private passenger airline in Uzbekistan.
