TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 30. Uzbekistan’s exports of oil, petroleum products, and similar materials amounted to $333 million in 2023, Trend reports.
According to the data from Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency, the volume of exported oil, petroleum products, and similar materials increased by 9.5 percent year-on-year ($168.1 million in 2022).
Uzbekistan’s exports of oil, petroleum products, and similar materials peaked in September 2023 with a volume of $42.2 million, while the lowest volume was recorded in January with $11.3 million.

Meanwhile, Uzbekistan’s oil, petroleum products, and similar materials trade turnover amounted to $967.7 million from January through April 2024. This figure is 23.1 percent higher compared to the same period last year ($686.1 million in January–April 2023).
The exports of oil, petroleum products, and similar materials totaled $179.4 million from January through April 2024, while the imports reached $788.3 million.
