Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. D.Khatinoglu / The Venezuelan President, Hugo Chavez, arrived in Teheran. According to the Iranian website Mehrnews, Chavez came to Teheran together with the Foreign Minister, Oil and Industry Minister and other high-ranking officials.
This is Chavez's fourth visit to Iran in the latest two years.
Venezuela is the closest ally to official Teheran. Venezuela supports the Iranian nuclear program. Political-economic relations between both countries are developed.
During his visit to Iran, Chavez will discuss the expansion of relations between both countries with the Iranian President, Ahmadinejad.
