EU Foreign Policy Chief Javier Solana urges Tehran to make haste in responding to the nuclear incentives proposed by World powers, reported PressTV.
Solana said Tuesday that while he had not set a deadline, he could not 'wait for years' for Iran's response to the package of proposals he recently delivered to Iranian authorities in Tehran.
He asserted that the European Union is determined to pursue 'the double-track approach' of negotiations and sanctions to end the West's standoff with Iran over its nuclear program.
The G5+1 package of political, security and economic incentives were offered to the Islamic Republic in exchange for its right to peaceful nuclear technology.
Iran says it will study the proposals and express its views at a later time.
