Kuwait's private airline, Jazeera Airways, has launched direct flights to the Iranian cities of Isfahan, Tehran, Shiraz, and Mashhad, Isfahan International Airport Director Iraj Beheshti said on Monday.

Under a newly signed agreement between Kuwait's Jazeera Airways and Isfahan International Airport, the direct flights between the Persian Gulf state and the central city of Isfahan are scheduled on odd days, the first of which was carried out on Sunday.

Kuwait's Jazeera Airways was established in 2004 as the country's first and only privately owned airline. It started operation on October 30, 2005.
