Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani says Iran will not back down on its principled policy on its nuclear program, even if the UN Security Council passes another sanctions resolution against Iran, Mehr News reported.
"We will firmly stick to our policy toward the nuclear issue and will not retreat, even if a hundred more resolutions are issued," Larijani said on Wednesday.
Iran is a signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and observes international regulations, but if another sanctions resolution is passed, Iran will reconsider its relations with the International Atomic Energy Agency, he emphasized.
