Several types of Iranian Air Force fighter jets will take part in an aerial parade in the next two weeks, Deputy Commander of Iran's Air Force General Mohammad Alavi said.

Several types of Iranian Air Force fighter jets will take part in an aerial parade in the next two weeks, Deputy Commander of Iran's Air Force General Mohammad Alavi said, Press Tv reported with reference to Fars News Agency.

Alavi added an exhibition of fighter jets would also be displayed in the southern city of Dezfoul.

The F7, F5, F4, F14, Mig-29, Sukhoi-24, and PC-7 fighter planes as well as different types of helicopters will be on display in the exhibition.

Transportation aircraft including the F27s, C130s and Falcon jets together with a number of drones will also be displayed at the event.

Alavi also explained that the fighter jets will perform two shows in mornings and afternoons.

"Two fighter jets will take off from inside the exhibition site every day for the maneuvers," the general said.

Alavi said the presence of these fighter jets in the region is morale-boosting for the Iranian nation adding the Air Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to counter any threat.
