Iran has increased the price of jet fuel for Iranian airlines on international flights, Fars news agency reported.
A notice sent to Iranian aviation companies by National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) increased jet fuel prices to 93 cents (USD) a liter. The new higher prices went into effect on March 25.
Airlines paid 40 cents (USD) a liter for jet fuel before the price hike.
