An Iranian company, which manufactures tablets under the brand name of DIMO, has just started exporting its products to regional markets.
Reza Moridavi, the managing director of Ertebatat Iranian Arvand, said that the company unveiled its first tablet in July.
Although some components such as LCD are not manufactured by the company, but other parts are completely built domestically, according to citna.ir website.
DIMO was initially priced at 3.95 million rials (about $322), but the prices has risen slightly considering the rise in the dollar price, he said.
The Iranian-made tablet provides all the facilities which are offered by foreign-made rivals, including HDMI port and external hard disk.
