Speaker of State Duma Sergey Naryshkin will represent Russia in an inauguration ceremony of Iran's new president Hassan Rouhani. The issue of Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit is not discussed yet, Iran's ambassador to Moscow Mahmoud Reza Sajjadi told RIA Novosti.

"The issue of Putin's visit is not discussed," he said. "We even do not know where "Kommersant" got this information. Only State Duma's speaker Naryshkin's participation in an inauguration ceremony of newly elected Iranian president Hassan Rouhani has been agreed. We do not have any information about the visit."

"Kommersant" newspaper reported last week that Vladimir Putin's visit to Iran is scheduled for August 12-13. Russia's presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov did not confirm this information.

"Many visits are prepared and the information will be delivered as soon as they are agreed," Peskov said.
