Two people involved in a financial fraud in Iran Insurance Company in 2010, have been sentenced to life in prison, the Fars News Agency reported.
Some other indicted persons were sentenced to 11-25 years behind bars.
Each of the two main culprits was fined over 99 billion rials (about $3.6 million).
Some others were also discharged from their government posts temporarily or permanently.
