BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 29. A total of 2.7 million euros worth of foreign investment was attracted to industrial parks of Iran’s Tehran Province in the north of the country over the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2023 through March 19, 2024), the CEO of Tehran Industrial Estates Company (TIEC), Saeid Sadeghi, said, Trend reports.
According to him, 15 people were provided with jobs as a result.
The CEO also said that last year, six research projects were developed to attract foreign investment in the industrial parks of Tehran province.
The official noted that in the last year of Iran, the enterprises operating in Tehran's industrial parks exported products worth 162 million euros.
To note, according to the statistics of the Iranian Customs Administration, Iran's export of non-oil products in the last Iranian year exceeded 136 million tons worth $49.3 billion.
Compared to the previous year, Iran's non-oil product exports decreased by 8.87 percent in terms of value and increased by 9.82 percent in terms of weight.
