BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 14. The export of products of Iranian petrochemical company Shazand to Uzbekistan has been resumed in recent days, director general of Iran's Arak Railways Authority Saeed Torki said, Trend reports.
According to Torki, the export of products from Shazand Petrochemical Company to Uzbekistan was suspended for 2 years. After 2 years, 1,000 tons of the company's products were shipped to Uzbekistan.
According to the official, the Arak Railway Authority has created various opportunities for safer transportation of the companies' products.
Meanwhile, the Arak Railway Authority controls a 588-kilometer-long railway line in five provinces of Iran (Qom, Central, Lorestan, Hamadan, and Kermanshah).
To note, the Iranian petrochemical company Shazand annually produces 306,000 tons of ethylene, 124,000 tons of propylene, 85,000 tons of heavy polyethylene, 85,000 tons of light polyethylene, and other products.
