Agricultural facilities to operate at Iran's Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari provinces

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 8. Agricultural facilities within 82 projects will be put into operation in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari provinces located in southwestern Iran from June 10 through 17, Director of Agriculture Department of Iran's Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari provinces Hossein Barzegar said, Trend reports.

According to Barzegar, a whopping 3.5 trillion rials (about $9.4 million) have been forked out for the mentioned number of projects through the public sector, private sector, and bank loans.

Barzegar indicated that 1,808 individuals will be employed by the projects once the facilities are commissioned.

The official added that 1.1 trillion rials (about $2.97 million) have been spent on 52 projects at the expense of the public sector and 1,130 people will be employed.

He noted that funds worth 2.39 trillion rials (about $6.39 million) have been spent on 30 projects at the expense of the private sector and 678 people will be employed.

To note, 87 projects in Iran's Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari provinces are scheduled to be launched and laid the foundations from June 10 through June 17.
