In general, during first half-year 2006 Turkeys revenues from tourism amounted $5.695bn, when over 8mln tourists visited the country.
Each tourist spends in average $688 in Turkey. The reason for tourists number reduction is war in the Middle East, bid flu and World Football Championship 2006.
