Turkey increased gas import from Iran in January-April by 14.11 percent to 3.228 billion cubic meters, compared to the same period in 2016.
According to a report, released by Turkey Energy Market Regulatory, its gas intake from Iran in April increased by 24.53% to 810.73 mcm.
Turkey’s total gas imports in April reached 4.25 bcm (including LNG), indicates a 19.61 percent growth year-on-year, while its four-month gas imports grew 22.26 percent to 20.446 bcm.
During four months, Turkey’s gas export also increased by 12% to above 203 mcm.
