Iran: liquidity hits $393.4B

Country’s liquidity has reached 12.89 quadrillion rials ($393.4 billion) in the Iranian month of Ordibehesht (April 21-May 21), the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) reported August 7.

Money constituted 1.61 quadrillion of the amount, while quasi-money counted for 11.27 quadrillion, the CBI said.

This meant 0.7 percent reduction compared to the Iranian month of Esfand (two months earlier than Ordibehesht).

Foreign debt in Ordibehesht has reached 5.78 quadrillion rials, or 0.7 percent of reduction and governmental sector’s debt has reached 2.3 quadrillion rials, or 5.1 increase compared to Esfand.
