Iran plans to send a letter to the UN Security Council member countries in the coming days, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said, Fars News Agency reported.

The letter, to be sent on behalf of the Iranian Foreign Minister Manuchohr Motakki, contains criticism regarding the adoption of the UN Security Council's new sanctions against Iran June 9.

June 9 UN Security Council adopted a new resolution to stop Iran's nuclear program. 12 members of the UN Security Council voted for the resolution number 1929, and two non-permanent member - Turkey and Brazil - against. Lebanon abstained from voting.
