Iran approves new detailed design for Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant
Tehran, Iran,March 7
Bushehr Secretariat of Urbanism and Architecture Committee has approved a new detailed design for settlement near Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant.
"The detailed design for Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant includes 888 hectare of settlement that is located 10 kilometers away from the nuclear plant in Zangeneh, Jafari, Imamzadeh, Reyshahr, Rayani and Sartel tangaks regions," said Mayor of Bushehr Port Nouroldin Amiri, Trend reports citing IRNA.
All the maps have been designed according to social and economic situation of the regional residents, he added.
"The changes include reducing the separation level from 250,300, 350 to 240 meters, while the residential density has increased from 70 percent to 120 percent. With those changes, the area of settlements in southern neighborhoods will also expand from 189 hectares to 320 hectares."
All the passages in the area are identified, while public areas such as parks and cultural centers will be increased, he added.
"Development of civil infrastructure, improving social services, reducing traffic and developing the urban environment are other advantages of the new design for Bushehr Nuclear Plant," he said.
