Director General of the North and East European Affairs Department at Foreign Ministry Ebadollah Molaie said on Tuesday that proper ground is prepared for expansion of Iran-Lithuania relations in all domains, especially for the economic, commercial, cultural and parliamentary cooperation, IRNA reported.
Speaking to Lithuanian Foreign Ministry's Managing Director for Political Affairs Ms. Ina Marciulionyte, Molaie said Iran is prepared for exchange of views and engagement at different levels on regional and international issues for more understanding.
Marciulionyte, for her part, referred to Iran's rich culture and civilization and underlined Iran's important role in the region, urging further consultations on regional and international issues and expansion of ties and cooperation with Iran.
