The Yemeni government, backed by Saudi Arabia, has decided to break off diplomatic relations with Iran, Reuters agency reported Oct. 2 citing Aden TV channel, RIA Novosti reported.
An armed conflict is observed in Yemen. A coalition of Arabic countries led by Saudi Arabia supported ousted president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi. It has been making air strikes on some provinces of Yemen since March 26, controlled by Houthis.
