The leader of the parliamentary faction of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group Armenia - Iran Galust Sahakyan met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) to Armenia Muhammad Reis, panorama.am reported, quoting the press service of the RA Parliament.
According to the report, a wide range of issues of Armenian-Iranian relations in various fields - political, economic and cultural were discussed during the meeting.
Ambassador Muhammad Reis, in turn, expressed hope to conduct mutually beneficial strategic programs in the field of economics, and the resolution of problems related to the agenda of the forthcoming meeting of the intergovernmental commission. The diplomat also introduced new members of the parliamentary Iran - Armenia group.
They discussed the issues of parliamentary cooperation, political and economic issues and regional development.
