Georgian Defense Minister believes Armenia will not allow Russian military base to be used against Georgian interests

Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Alasania today expressed confidence that Armenia will not allow the use of the Russian military base there to be a detriment to the interests of Georgia, Mediamax reported.

The Georgian minister made this statement during a press conference following his meeting with Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan.

Irakli Alasania said that the Russian military bases located in South Ossetia and Abkhazia are a threat to Georgia.
