According to the Georgian Central Election Commission, the repeat parliamentary elections or the second round will be held in certain constituencies in case of necessity on October 15.
According to the proportional system, the repeated elections will be held if the total number of registered voters in the constituency where the election results were declared invalid is more than 10 percent of the voters.
According to the paragraph 16 of Article 125 of the Electoral Code, the repeated voting will be set within two weeks from the date of holding the main elections.
CEC is authorized to entrust the district commission or the commission of a new composition to hold repeated elections.
According to the preliminary information, the election results will be declared invalid on 10 constituencies, including at the tenth constituency in Khashuri.
